Waterfalls in Western NC

Waterfalls are plentiful in Western North Carolina. The closest one is Soco Falls pictured to the right. It is an easy drive up Soco Road just past the Blue Ridge Parkway on the way to Cherokee. Parking is on the side of the road and the falls are only a short hike down the path.

Other falls of interest is Mingo Falls in Cherokee, Rainbow Falls on the Tennessee side of the park, Bridal Vail Fails on the way to Brevard and Graveyard Fields Falls just off the Blue Ridge Parkway
